I was recruited in FEB 2010.....I didnt know anything about AIESEC. i was just given a form by my senior in college and he asked me to just join the organization. Believe me!!! The day i Joined AIESEC i knew nothing more than its name.
After coming into the organization I was put into the DEVELOPMENT(DT) department. Slowly as I attended the meetings, went through the training I came to know more about AIESEC
But still by that time I was not sure whether joining AIESEC was the right decision or not.....
It was in April when i went for my 1st meeting with the NGOs of kolkata. After meeting a couple of big NGOs i actually realized what i got...maybe you guys cant guess what i got??
I COULDNT BELIEVE THAT I GAVE A FULL PRESENTATION TO THEM ABOUT AIESEC, HAD A FORMAL CONVERSATION WITH THEM AND HAD STRUCK A DEAL.!!!
just within a few months AIESEC made my soft skill so strong!!!!! And after 3 months, I am made the ORGANIZING COMMITTEE VICE PRESIDENT(OC VP)
and now i am given the opportunity of interacting the entire youth of KOLKATA.........
